A concept created for France 2 “Youth Programs” by Arno Moria and Florence Maslanka, KD2A is a mini-sitcom in which a group of teenagers document their daily life. Fully written by authors led by former advertising creative director Marie Deshaires, this program shot in subjective camera (the actors hold the camera most of the time) always gives the viewer the feeling of being part of the group.

The immediate success allowed the program to evolve over 6 years into a saga of epic scale (1000 X 75 sec + 9 X 26 mn), equivalent to 12 full-length feature films !

KD2A attracted an average weekly 700 000 viewers (34% audience share)

Message à Caractère Informatif (1998 > 2000) CANAL +

Nicolas and Bruno’s “Message à Caractère Informatif” was broadcast everyday for two seasons on Canal + flagship program “Nulle Part Ailleurs”. Penned and voiced over by the directing duo, this short program based on 1980’s corporate films excerpts quickly gained the status of cult series. The best 100 out of the 200 Messages produced have been gathered recently on a DVD.

P.I.N.K. (2000) France 2

P.I.N.K. stands for "Programme d'Information Non Konformiste". Concepted by Isis Colombe Combreas, this 52 mins TV Trends Magazine developed for France 2 at the turn of the millenium was edited and executive produced by Les Télécréateurs. A contemporary art direction (by graphic designer Sylvia Tournerie), original direction and editing (directors coming from the music video and ad world), and then-edgy guests like Bret Easton Ellis, Heidi Slimane, Ora ïto, William Orbit, André, Futura 2000, Space Invaders, to name a few, was the signature of the magazine. Even to present TV standards, 2000's P.I.N.K. is still a vanguard program.

Paris Dernière " The night road movie ". Executive production of the 2 first seasons (54 X 52 mn). Frédéric Taddeï's subjective camera take us on a weekly night tour to the dark side of the capital…

The strong identity of the direction and the incomparable tone of the interviews (more than 350 of them within 2 years, either renowned or unknown people) have contributed to making Paris Dernière the most original and most watched program on cable TV.

Un Air D’Eté (1999) ARTE / NAIVE

In 1999 Naïve replaced BMG for a new series of six animated short films developed for ARTE. A carte blanche was again given to six directors who could choose a music track they like in the Naïve World Music catalogue : "Ali au pays des merveilles" by Cédric Mercier, inspired Toufic Farroukh ; "Brazil" 
by Bertrand Mandico, inspired by
 Pink Martini ; “Hija Mia” by Rémi Malingrëy, inspired by Amina Alaoui ; "Monti Olivetti" 
by Aline Ahond, 
 inspired by
 Jean-Paul Poletti ; "Un Cubano en Nueva York" 
by Roberto Prual-Réavis, 
 inspired by Café Nostalgia / Zoé Valdès ; "Ronds D’Iroise" 
by Lorenzo Recio,

 Didier Squiban.

All six films were in heavy rotation all summer long, and Naïve edited a special compilation CD.

"La Tempête" received both a Gold Award (seasonal and special events) and a Silver Award (for animation) at the 1999 Promax.

Scanner (1998 > 1999) Série Club

Back in the nineties, when TV series were exclusively for fans, Scanner - broadcast on cable channel «Série Club» - dissected the news of the medium on a weekly basis. Long form documentaries -with original behind-the-scene footage and interviews - were also produced, including one about Tom Fontana's OZ, in which we've had the rare opportunity to capture Matt Dillon directing one episode of the show. 40 X 13 mn /season + 10 X 26 mn (special documentaries)
